The material in this program is derived from the American Burn Association manual with the exception of The Fluid Calculation Program. This program was created by using accepted formulas for Body Surface Area, and fluid replacement and was then programmed for ease of use.

This program has been developed by Saint Francis Memorial Hospital and it's parent company, Catholic Health West, for use by medical practitioners who are in the position of stabilizing patients for transport to burn centers.
